Heading into the park - if you notice all of the different numbers, yes it was planned. In the spring we figured out that once Andrew comes home, we have enough people in our family for a baseball team (minus a pitcher), so we assigned a player for each family member and collected the shirts. Yep, we need to get out more....
During the 7th inning stretch we were able to meet up with Alan's brothers family who were sitting a section down from us (we didn't know they were coming to the game until long after we both bought tickets) - they live over 2 hours from us and had all 3 of their grown kids and their spouses with them. So we all got in a little visit and a few rounds of "the wave" while hanging out in the concourse.

So, did having a slew of members from the same family bring the struggling Phils a little luck??

Okay, that looks like serious fun! And in that one picture, Alan has a real serious game face. I hope you guys get in a few more outings before Colin heads off to school again.
