This photo is for my buddy, Wendy. They have Toffee Nut lattes here - and it's not even spring!!
This afternoon we went to a local museum and saw the tomb of an ancient Chinese king. The actual burial site is right there and they built the museum around it. We got to tour the tomb and check out all of the stuff (and people, ewww) that were buried with him.
Here are some of the photos that I was unable to load onto yesterday's post. The closest we came to a turkey....(ok, WE thought it looked like a turkey, anyway)
The travel gang....
Thanksgiving. China style. :)
Andrew is doing surprisingly well, considering the circumstances. He has taken very well to all of us, and he is really a dear little guy. He calls us "Mommy" and "Daddy" very easily and is quite the creature of habit. We had a great conversation with our guide, Amy about how differently the Chinese raise their children as opposed to how Americans do things. It certainly explains a lot. I am really looking forward to when Xue Lin understands more English and things will be less confusing for all of us!

Love the turkey.
Friends of ours saw that museum too. Wonder how in the world we missed it back in '07?
