Xue Lin continues to become more comfortable with us and is definitely a Daddy's boy! He loves to be carried by his Daddy but isn't quite up to going on the shoulders yet (too high! and he hangs on to Alan's face for dear life!)
We went to the police station to apply for Xue Lin's passport and then to the medical appointments. Fortunately it all went well, even though he needed 4 shots and a TB test. Through it all, he was a very brave little bug, but we are concerned that he will not be feeling very well this evening.

The men watching the Asian Games on tv
The Asian Games are still in Guangzhou this week which has been really interesting. They are actually showing some events on a big screen on the building across the street and it's all over the tv. We are getting to see some pretty cool sports that we just don't see in the US. The hotel is hosting people from all over the world and a tv sports crew from AlJazeera was eating breakfast at the table next to ours at breakfast this morning. Just stuff you don't see everyday!!
For Kristi and Cindy - the China Hotel has been completely redone and it is absolutely stunning! The rooms are really modern and there are new restaurants - but it's not the same without you guys!!!!!

I'll bet catching the Asian games on TV has been pretty cool. We got a lot of the Olympics back in February...
