We had the best time meeting new people, attending the wedding of our China guides (to each other!) and visiting with friends that we traveled with in 2007.
One of the highlights of the trip for me was hanging in the hotel lobby with 3 amazing ladies that I am blessed to call my friends. You know those friends that you don't see often, but when you do, you connect on a deep level??? We had warm drinks and talked about so much on that rainy afternoon, but we all really connected over our hearts for adoption. Kristi and Shannon shared about waiting to bring their little girls home - Darcy from China, and Corrie from Ethiopia and just wanting to get their arms around the little ones that were waiting for their mommies. Cindy and I shared about "knowing" that our children were "out there" but being called to wait, and the frustrations that came with those feelings.

Now it's time to go four for four!!! Cindy has started an all too cute fundraiser to get the wheels rolling to bring home precious Mary Kate!!! Woooo!!!! I seriously can't wait to see how God moves to bring this little one home!!! To say that I'm excited for them is an understatement! Starting October 1, you can hop on over to:
