Today our school district suspended the uniform dress code and my children went to school dressed like this:

You see, in our little neck of the woods, it's "Spirit Week" - the week leading up to the big rivalry football game with the prize of the "old oaken bucket". The week starts off with "Farmer Day". The kids all go to school dressed like farmers. And our high school parking lot looks like this:
Yep - our high school kids actually drive their tractors to school on Farmer day. Don't see THAT in the big city!!

I thought my high school was the only place where that happened! Brought back some fun memories...
