Everyone headed back to school and work yesterday, amid many mumbles and grumbles. The holiday break was really well needed around here and was indeed, a break. We were able to have family movie nights with minimal basketball practice interruptions, the majority were able to sleep late, you get the idea. Poor Grace doesn't really know what hit her after having everyone home for almost two weeks. When she got up yesterday morning the first thing she asked was "Where's Daddy??" - she was content when I told her that he was working. This morning when she woke up she asked the same thing - when I told her that Daddy was working she said "Again???" She cracks me up.
I do have a bunch of posts to catch up on from last week - so stay tuned for a birthday, a postponed church Christmas play and a really funny story about a goldfish cracker and a nose!

Sweet little Grace! Kylie had pretty much the same reaction and wanted to know why Ian had to go to work. Then randomly at lunch yesterday she asked, "Is Daddy coming home?" When I said that he would be home after work in time for dinner she replied, "Good, that will make me very happy!"
